Asset Management Plan

The Township of Cramahe Asset Management Plan (AMP)

Infrastructure investment is an important component of municipal government responsibility. It helps facilitate economic development, promotes quality of life improvement for residents, and can even create jobs. As such, the Township of Cramahe, is sharing our Asset Management Plan (AMP) for interested members of the public to review on our website.

The AMP outlines an asset management strategy that defines a 10-year horizon (as stipulated by the Province of Ontario) in which infrastructure investment deficits may be addressed.  The AMP seeks to provide a framework for considering, prioritizing and optimizing asset management. It is a planning tool that will allow needs to be prioritized over wants and help ensure that investments are made at the right time to minimize future repair and rehabilitation costs.

Please note that the condition assessments included in the AMP are predominantly “age based” and do not currently reflect past rehabilitation investment and projects. The AMP is a dynamic document that will evolve and be revised as more detailed condition assessments are obtained.
