February 11, 2017: Denim and Hearts Dinner and Dance
A special romantic Valentine's Day dinner and dance hosted by Black Dress Catering at the Colborne Legion. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $25 per person, or at the Legion ahead of time. Be sure to wear your best blue jeans and good heart. Dinner will be at 6:30pm and for more information, please contact Donna Rusaw at 905-375-8575. 

February 16, 2017: The Secret Path
Please join Ojibway Elder Melody Crowe at 6:30pm for a reading of Gord Downie & Jeff Lemire's "The Secret Path" at the Colborne Library. Free admission and everyone is welcome. 

February 17, 2017: Legion Dinner, International Chicken
International chicken dinner held at the Colborne Legion from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Prices are $13 per person, or $10 for veterans and all are welcome. 

February 20, 2017: Family Skate
Family Skate hosted by Community Care Northumberland and sponsored by CRH Canada, Ogden Point Quarry from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Free admission and all are welcome. 

February 25, 2017: The Art of Book Folding
The Pop Art eco-gallery in Colborne is holding a class on The Art of Book Folding for Beginners. The class will be from 12:30pm until 4:00pm for $40 per person. For more information, please contact Lianne Snow at 905-355-2547.

Cramahe Heritage Day at the Keeler Centre to celebrate Cramahe's 225th birthday. From 1:00pm to 4:00pm, come help us celebrate our country and community with local artifacts, Cramahe century properties, the Charles Smith Rutherford story, Settler families and Cramahe digital archives. Shrove Tuesday at the Colborne Legion from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. There will be pancakes, sausages and a light dessert. Prices are $8 per person, or $6 for veterans. All are welcome.

World Day of Prayer at the Colborne Pentecostal Church at 2:00 pm. Located on Division Street in Colborne. All are invited.

March 4, 2017: The Power of the Pen
Opening Reception for The Power of the Pen: An Exhibit of Pen & Ink Drawings & Paintings by Ronald Peter from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Colborne Art Gallery. March 10, 2017: Free Public Skating
Free public skating at the Keeler Centre Arena from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Public Skating continues throughout the entire March Break. Come in and see us for various times. Don't forget your skates! 

March 10, 2017: "Then and Now" - Rug Hooking in Canada - A Canada 150 Exhibition
It will include an interactive rug hooking station in the main gallery that invites the public to explore this Canadian heritage craft. This show at the AGN coincides with the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild's Annual Conference held at the Cobourg Community Centre April 28th-30th. Items (vintage and modern) have been collected from artists throughout Ontario and the Hooked Rug Museum of North America (located in Nova Scotia)  it includes Grenfell rugs (Nfld), Tremblay rugs (Quebec), and vintage rugs (Nova Scotia). March 11, 2017: Computer Coding Workshop
computer Coding Workshop at the Colborne Library from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. There will be workshops March 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st. There will be a $10 charge per workshop.  

March 11, 2017: CCMHA Classic Challenge Fundraiser
Saturday March 11th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm there will be two fundraiser hockey games with all proceeds in support of the Suzanne Kernaghan Trail & Rotary Community Projects. Game 1 will be Minor Hockey Alumni Classic: Peewee D Vs. Midget D. Game 2 will be the Mayor's Oldtimers Cup: Brighton Oldtimers Vs. Cramahe Oldtimers. March 14, 2017: The Fascinating World of Insects
The Fascinating World of Insects at the Colborne Library starting at 11:15am. Join our workshops and make your very own bug house to take home. Second workshop will be March 16th at 11:15am. 

March 17, 2017: St Patty's at Gilligan's Pub
Gilligan's Pub is having all day celebrations for St Patrick's Day. Come out and enjoy the DJ playing Irish music with some great food. 

March 17, 2017: Concert and St Patrick's Day Celebration
Concert and St Patrick's Day celebration at the Castleton Town Hall starting at 7:00pm. Juno Award nominee Maria Dunn, a story teller through song. Tickets available at Picker's Paradise in Colborne, or online at www.themillatpipercreek.ca/events for $30.

Awesome Art Classes at the Colborne Library from 10:30am to 11:30am. Paint a portrait of a stuffed teddy bear using acrylic paint.  

March 18, 2017: A Paint Workshop

March 18, 2017: Nathan Kelly's Journey
Nathan Kelly's journey with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Bill Patchett will be at the Colborne Legion to talk about the journey Nathan has ahead of him during his battle with this aggressive relapsed Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The talk will start at 7:00pm and everyone is welcome. There will be no cover charge but there will be a donation box provided at the door.  

April 1, 2017: Castleton United Church - Roast Beef Dinner
Roast beef meal with all the fixings and homemade desserts from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. Prices are $15 for adults, $6 ages 6-12, and FREE for ages 5 & under. April 7, 2017: Colborne Legion - Roast Beef Dinner

April 8, 2017: Hop Hop Hop In Vendor Show
Hop Hop Hop In Vendor Show at the United Church Hall in Colborne. Doors open fromm 9am-3pm, lots of Easter specials and all are welcome. 

April 8, 2017: Spaghetti Dinner
Famous spaghetti dinner hosted by the Dundonald Community Group at the Dundonald Hall from 5-7pm. Adults are $12, and kids under 10 are $6. Please call 905-344-7963 to get your tickets. 

April 9, 2017: Waite Fundraiser
A fundraising event will be held at the Dundonald Hall at 1pm in support of Brenda and Gary Waite who tragically lost a barn, equipment and livestock to a fire in March. 

April 11, 2017: Colborne Library Movie Night
Movie night at the Colborne Library at 6:15 pm featuring The Wild Life.

April 15, 2017: Downey Pharmacy's Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Victoria Square at 10am. Please bring a basket and don't be late as the eggs go fast!!

April 20, 2017: Open Mic Night
The Colborne Library will be hosting an open mic night at 6:30pm.

April 21, 2017: Fish Fry
Fish Fry hosted by the Colborne Legion. There will be fish, potatoes, and cole-slaw. Prices are $13 for adults, $7 for children 6-12 or $10 for veterans.

April 22, 2017: Keep the County Clean Challenge
The 9th Annual Mayor's Keep the County Clean Challenge will be from 9am - 11am, followed by a free BBQ to all participants from 11am - 1pm. Please contact Jeannie Mintz at jeannie@cramahetownship.ca or 905-355-2821 Ext. 122 to sign up.

The 6th Annual Pie Auction and Square Dance hosted by the Heritage United Church will start at 6:30pm at the Colborne Legion Hall. 

April 29, 2017: Starlight Dinner and Silent Auction
The Starlight Dinner and Silent Auction will be at Victoria Hall in Cobourg, starting at 6pm. Tickets are $75 and are available at Pickers Paradise or Victoria Hall Box Office. This will be a fundraiser for the Mill at Piper Creek Arts and Heritage Centre, Castleton Ontario. 

April 30, 2017: The Art of Book Folding

May 27th-28th, 2017: Apple Blossom Tyme Festival
The annual Apple Blossom Tyme Festival will be loacated at the Keeler Centre at 80 Division Street. There will be fun activities for all ages including: Midway, Local Entertainment, Climbing Wall, Local Vendor Marketplace, Buskers & more! There will be a Show 'n' Shine Classic Car Show on Sunday May 28th from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

June 2, 2017: Kick Up Your Heels Ceilidh
Starting at 7PM, come out to the Castleton Town Hall and enjoy live music by Clan Hannigan for only $25 per ticket. Tickets are available at Picker's Paradise in Colborne or online at www.themillatpipercreek.ca 

June 3, 2017: Joint Emergency Base Grand Opening
The grand opening of the Emergency Services Base (Fire Hall and EMS) in Northumberland County from 11am - 2pm. An afternoon filled with free fun for the whole family. There will be a BBQ, facility tours, demonstrations and other activities. Located at 232 Purdy Road. 

June 3, 2017: Three P's Parade (Parade, Plant & Popsicles)
Come and help the Cramahe Horticultural Society take the Bug Hotel to the Ecology Garden. The parade starts at 11:30 am the the Colborne Library, and ends at the Ecology Garden. March in our parade, plant a plant with us and have a popsicle treat. Plants and popsicles will be provided. 

June 9, 2017: Dr. Byron Hyde
Dr. Bryon Hyde from Nightingale Research Foundation will be at the Colborne Legion at 7:00pm to talk about Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Fibromyalgia Interstitial Cystitis. Donation only. 

June 10, 2017: Paint, Pots and Plants
Paint, pots and plants from 10:30-11:30am at the Castleton Library. Join us for a fun-filled hour of painting pots and planting seeds with members of the Cramahe Horticultural Society, and take your creation home with you. 

June 10, 2017: Mom to Mom Vendor
Mom to Mom Vendor event from 9-3pm at the Castleton Town Hall. 

June 11, 2017: Gospel Concert
There will be a raw gospel concert at the Prospect Community Church at 10am. 

June 15, 2017: Rotary Club Golf Tournament
On June 15th the Rotary Club will be having their annual 18 Hole Golf Day at Shelter Valley Pines Golf Club. There will be a 9am tee off time. Shared power cart and a BBQ steak buffet luncheon for $95 will all proceeds raised going towards Nathan Kelly's treatment costs.

June 20, 2017: Horticultural Society Meeting
The Horticultural Society meeting will be held at the Keeler Centre at 7:00pm. Joyce Higgs will be speaking about the Catherine Parr Trail and Canadian Wild Flowers.

June 22, 2017: Music in the Square Kick-off
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live music in Victoria Square every Thursday evening from June 22 to August 24 from 6:30 - 8:30. The June 22nd kick-off will feature a 5:00pm BBQ followed by Ginny Mcllmoyle and Sweet Grass. Closing out the 2017 season will be a 5:00pm BBQ followed by the Beach Party Boys presenting that California sounds of the 60s and 70s.

June 20, 2017: Summer Flower Show
On June 20th at 7:00pm, the Cramahe Horticultural Society will be having their Annual Summer Flower Show. 

June 24, 2017: Youth Vocal Talent Show
On June 24th (estimated start time of 12:30), there will be a youth vocal talent show in Victoria Square park in memory of Michelle Knight-Mendez and Mylissa Legacy. Anyone aged 3-18 years are welcome to sign up. There will be lots of talent, face painting, silent auction, 50/50 draw, a raffle, bake sale, BBQ and much much more! All proceeds will be going to Sick Kids Hospital, as well as Northumberland Hills Hospital. Come and enjoy while supporting a great cause! Please click here to view the details. On August 27th at the Castleton Town Hall, come and enjoy BBQ hot dogs & fresh corn in the afternoon and early evening. Sponsored by the Castleton Sports Club and the District Lions Club.
